How to: Set the properties of a control in a form.
Solution:
In the Form Design view, select the desired control, select the 'View' menu and select 'Properties'. Make the desired selections and entries.
1) If the Database window is not active, activate the Database window.
2) Click the 'Forms' tab in the Database window.

3) Select the desired form from the list box. (The selected form is highlighted.)
4) Click 'Design'. (The selected form appears in the Design view and the floating Toolbox appears.)
5) To set the properties of a control:
a) Click on the desired Control. (Handles appear around the control.)

b) Select the 'View' menu and select 'Properties'. (The properties sheet appears for the selected control.)
NOTE 1: A brief description of the selected control appears in the properties sheet status bar.

NOTE 2: The properties for each control must be defined individually.
c) Make the desired selections and entries for the control.
NOTE: The Properties sheet contains five tabs.
To close the property sheet, click the 'X' in the upper-right hand corner of the property sheet.

NOTE: The properties will be saved only when the design view is saved.
